Cheryl A. Bottie obtained her degree from New York University in New York City, New York. Ms. Bottie is also a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs School in New York City, New York.
Ms. Bottie started her legal career with a large law firm on Park Avenue in New York City, New York, as private legal secretary to one of its senior partners concentrating in the areas of business and corporate law. Following her move to Largo, Florida, Ms. Bottie joined a sole practitioner for three years specializing in estate planning, family law, real estate, and foreclosures. Ms. Bottie left the private sector to move to Clearwater, Florida, and start her family. During this time she was instrumental in establishing the first Legal Secretary Association in the area and helped to develop the standards required to obtain a Legal Assistant Degree. Ms. Bottie continued her career as a legal professional with a law firm in Clearwater, Florida, where she worked for sixteen years as office manager and paralegal to its senior partner whose areas of practice included estate planning, wills, trusts and estates, probate, guardianship, conservatorships, business law and organization, condominium law , real estate, foreclosures and adoptions.
Ms. Bottie joined THE ADAMS LAW OFFICES, LLC, as lead Paralegal and brings with her over thirty years legal proficiency, expertise and experience. Ms. Bottie is usually our client's first contact with the office and is ready to great them with knowledge and understanding.
