Personal Injury & Wrongful Death
The Adams Law Offices, represents clients who have been injured in a serious accident caused by the negligence of another person, an entity, or a business.
We understand that your injuries are serious, and we want to do everything we can to ensure that your medical bills, recovery care, and other expenses are taken care of by the negligent party and their insurance company. Should you retain us as your personal injury law firm, you will not pay us anything out-of-pocket in most cases. Legal fees due to The Adams Law Offices and any applicable expenses will be paid from the final disposition and settlement of your case, taking into consideration your present and future health, financial status, employment status, and other pertinent matters affecting you, your loved ones, your quality of life, and any other concerns that you believe to be in your present and future interest and protection.
Because we have a successful track record when it comes to representing personal injury clients, we have the resources to hire the best investigators and medical specialists to prove your claim and testify on your behalf in the event that we are unable to reach a settlement agreement first.
It is important that you speak to an attorney right away, especially because it is not uncommon for the other party’s insurance company to try and reach a settlement with you immediately. There is no way that you can know immediately after an accident how much it will cost you to recover from your accident and get on with your life.
At The Adams Law Offices, our personal injury attorneys will retain medical specialists who can assess the extent of your injuries, and we can file a personal injury claim on your behalf.
We represent clients in the following areas of personal injury:
- Car Accidents
- DUI Accidents

In Georgia, there is a two-year statute of limitations for filing a personal injury lawsuit from the time the accident took place.
Award damages may include the following:
- Household support while you recover from your injury
- Loss of income
- Pain and suffering
- Mental anguish
- Punitive damages—intended to punish the defendant—where there is evidence that he or she meant to intentionally injure the plaintiff.
While Georgia does not have a statutory cap when awarding a person damages for pain and suffering, tort cases have a $250,000 limit—unless there is evidence of specific intent to inflict harm.
Wrongful Death
We also represent the surviving family members of a person who has been killed because of negligence on the part of an entity, a business, or another person. Although we cannot do anything to assuage the pain of your loss, we will do what we can to file a claim against whoever was responsible for the death of your loved one and do our best to obtain the maximum recovery for you.
